This policy explains what personal information BP9 collects from Malaysian members, why each piece of it is needed, and how we treat it once it reaches us. Registering an account, verifying your mobile number, funding your balance and requesting a withdrawal all involve giving us some information about yourself, so it is fair that you know exactly what that information does.
Nothing here is decoration. Every detail described below exists because an account cannot be opened, secured, funded or paid out without it.
We collect information in three broad groups: the details you enter yourself, the payment details you give us so money can move, and the technical information your device produces when you connect.
The registration form asks for a username, a mobile number with a country code, and a password. A referral field is optional, so you only fill it in if someone has given you a referral code.
Your profile then holds further details, which you can open and edit under My Profile in the member area:
Your username is fixed once the account is created. Everything else in the profile is information you can review and keep current.
To fund your account and to be paid out, we need the details of the bank account or e-wallet in your own name. These are stored under Bank Details in the member area, where you choose between a bank account and an e-wallet before entering the details.
When a bank transfer or a cash machine deposit cannot be matched automatically, we ask you to upload the payment receipt so the amount can be verified and credited. That receipt is a record of a payment you made, so it will normally show the bank, the amount and the time of the transfer.
Like any online service, our platform records technical information when you connect. That includes your IP address, details of the browser or device you are using, and a record of sign-in activity on your account. This information is produced automatically rather than typed in by you.
Each of these uses is tied to a specific thing you asked us to do: let you in, confirm it is really you, move your money, or answer your question.
Your username and password identify you at login. If you forget your password, the reset is requested from the login form and a new password is sent by SMS to your registered mobile number, which is why that number has to be correct and reachable. If you forget your username instead, live chat can help once you can quote the mobile number registered to the account.
Some providers use a separate game password, which you set under Game Password in the member area alongside the game username issued for that provider. Those credentials are used for provider access and nothing else.
Before a first withdrawal, we ask you to verify your mobile number. You tap REQUEST OTP, receive a six-digit code by SMS, and enter it to confirm the number belongs to you. The point of the code is simple: it proves that whoever is asking for a payout also controls the phone tied to the account.
Your full name is used to check that the person depositing and the person being paid are the same person. Deposits must come from an account in your own name, not a friend’s or a relative’s, and a withdrawal is rejected if the beneficiary name differs from the depositing name. Keeping your registered name identical to your bank records is therefore the single most practical thing you can do to avoid a payment problem.
By joining, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Your date of birth supports that confirmation, and we may ask for proof of age before an account continues to operate. Where a birthday-linked reward is involved, the date on file also decides when it applies.
Your bank or e-wallet details, the amounts you enter and any receipts you upload are used to verify and complete each transaction, and they form the record you can review under the history tabs in your account. Because BP9 does not add its own deposit or withdrawal fee, the figure credited is the amount actually received, so the transaction record also shows you where a payment method’s own charge has reduced a deposit.
Technical and transaction information helps us keep accounts safe. We allow one active account per member, and we may request additional documents where activity on an account looks unusual. Scammers do impersonate staff of gambling sites and ask members for payments, so we also use these records to investigate reports and to confirm what genuinely happened on an account.
When you contact live chat, the agent works from your account information to help with the matter you raise, for example recovering a forgotten username, correcting a date of birth, or confirming whether a message really came from us.
We use your mobile number and your account inbox to send you service messages, including password resets, verification codes and account notices. Your inbox sits in the member area, where messages can be searched, marked as read or deleted.
Under Settings you will find an SMS Notification toggle and a Push Notification toggle, both switched on by default, so you decide whether to keep receiving them.
Your personal information is not disclosed to third parties unless we are required to do so by law, by regulation, or by a court order.
Payments are the one place where information naturally travels, because a payment cannot be completed without it. In general terms, a bank, an e-wallet operator or a payment gateway processes the details a transaction requires in order to move the money. Gateway payments work the way online banking normally does: you authorise the payment with your own banking credentials and a second factor such as an SMS code or a token, and the result of that payment is what reaches us.
For that reason, a genuine gateway page is part of your bank’s own flow. Nobody at BP9 needs your banking username, your banking password or a code sent to your phone in order to process anything.
Accurate details are not a formality here, because they decide whether a payment can be completed. Please review your profile when anything changes, and tell support straight away if you switch mobile number or start using a different bank account.
A few details need help to change. Your username cannot be edited. Your registered name has to match your bank account, so a correction is handled by live chat rather than silently overwritten. A wrong date of birth is also corrected through live chat, and you will be asked for a document that establishes it, such as an identity card, a passport or a birth certificate.
A real risk to your information comes from messages and calls that try to talk you into handing something over. A short set of habits guards against it.
Our platform is intended for adults only. If you share a device with children, protecting that device and your log-in details also keeps a gambling account out of their reach.
Live chat is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. That is the route for any question about the information held on your account, for a correction you cannot make yourself, and for reporting a message or an approach that looks like an attempt to get your details.
We may update this policy as the service develops, and the current published version always applies.
